Everything from how advances work and when you need them, taxes (domestic and international - withholding and treaties), where revenue is being made in the music industry today (top partners), royalty collection, and building up a catalog that will be worth something in the long term (masters and publishing).

Jorge Brea is Symphonic's CEO.
Anna Bond is the Senior Director of Global Business Development for Songtrust, the world’s largest global royalty collection service and publishing administrator. Bond works with record labels, music publishers, and music technology companies to register taste-making talent with Songtrust, enabling songwriters and music rights holders to collect the global publishing royalties they’re owed. Bond has been in the music industry for more than 15 years, and prior to Songtrust, she was US label head for storied indie powerhouse Rough Trade Records. She has also spent time at independent distributor Secretly Distribution, digital music service eMusic, and in label management for Brighton, UK based rock/experimental label FatCat.
Rob Filomena is a 20-year veteran of the music industry and COO/CFO of Industria Works where he oversees the financial operations and business development in the US, Latin America and Europe for the company's portfolio of brands including Nacional Records and the Latin Alternative Music Conference. He was also co-founder of MuuseMe Sounds, the first Hispanic-market focused sync licensing platform dedicated to promoting independent artists from Latin America and created Trenderscope.com, a social analytics platform that is indexing the world of independent music from the Spanish speaking world. Previously Rob was CD Baby’s first Director of Music Publishing overseeing the administration of 500,000 compositions from 80,000 songwriters worldwide and served as an Advisory Board Member of the American Association of Independent Music (A2IM).
Liz Zavoyskiy is an investment principal with MEP Capital, a NYC based media investment fund with over $150M assets under management. Bringing with her 6 years of experience at the intersection of the entertainment and finance industries, Liz was previously with Livamp.com and is a graduate of NYU's Gallatin School. 
Jason Jordan has more than 30 years of experience in the music industry. He started his career at only 12 years old co-founding the legendary hardcore and punk rock label Watermark Records and his own boutique music publishing company Earthprogram Music. In 1992, Jason started the retail music marketing and sales program at the clothing retail giant Urban Oufitters (still America’s #1 retailer of vinyl, and the program still exists). He later served as A&R Director at Columbia Records, before moving over to Hollywood Records/Disney Music Group as VP A&R, a role he held for almost 14 years, discovering and working with talent with sales in excess of 20 million albums. He currently operates in a Senior A&R and business development role for Symphonic Distribution, manages the daily operations of Earthprogram, and consults for a variety of artists, private companies, and global media entities.
